There have been numerous data scandals in recent months in the digital world. Multinational European companies like Germany’s Telekom and discount grocery store Lidl have been accused of spying on their employees, while several worrying cases in which address and account number information was illegally exchanged have raised alarms.
The Internet search engine Google caused a stir by providing images of entire streets of houses and social networking Web sites like Facebook have become sources of information that employers can easily tap into.

In Germany, the parliament, in its last regular meeting of the legislative period at the beginning of July, passed a change in the country’s data protection law. No one was actually satisfied with the compromise. For example, personal data can still be used without permission from its owner by advertisers or non-profit organizations. The politicians did not write into the law that an expressed agreement must be obtained in advance.

And the basic trend continues: More and more activity is taking place on the Internet, and thus the abuse danger rises. But data protection advocates say this isn’t a time for fatalism — they advise people to take countermeasures. Citizens and consumers are not able to protect themselves against all attempts to collect information about them, said Thilo Weichert, director of the independent state center for data protection in Germany.

“There is no such thing as one hundred per cent protection,” said Weichert. But by developing a higher sensibility and establishing ground rules, the risks can be reduced at least to a degree in which the individual still has the possibility of controlling his own data.

Rena Tangens, founder of a citizens’ rights and data protection association called FoeBud in Germany, also encourages more self-initiative in the private sphere. Consumers still assume the law protects them. The law is often not sufficient on one hand and on the other it is not capable of punishing offenses retroactively. Essentially, it is better to think preventively and release as little information about oneself as possible.

Privacy specialists call it data frugality. It means that to the extent possible consumers should minimize the amount of data they release into circulation, especially, but not only, in their use of electronic communications, particularly those susceptible to being spied upon. The less frequently one uses these means of communication, the more difficult it becomes for advertisers and other interested parties to establish a profile.

“When a consumer communicates electronically and leaves behind traces, there always is the risk these traces can be used for purposes other than intended,” Weichert stressed.

soul mate, how it feels to have your dream body – those things
would begin to appear in your life.

The keys to using the Law of Attraction are to:

1. Get clear about what you want
2. Raise your vibration so that it matches what you want
3. Allow what you want to come to you

Now, the Law of Attraction isn’t a magic wand. You can’t simply
think about something and have it magically appear in your life.
Instead, what will happen is you will receive methods by which
you can get the things you want. You might be inspired to call
someone you haven’t spoken to in ages, only to have them
volunteer to give you the very thing you’ve been wanting,
without you ever mentioning it to them. You might receive the
sudden idea to drop by your favorite store on a day they’re
raffling off the car you want.

For that reason, it is important to be aware of the sudden ideas
that come to you. They are like little nudges from the Universe
to act now to get the very thing you want.

The Law of Attraction isn’t a New Age belief, or occult mumbo-
jumbo. It is a scientific fact. And like any science, the key
is knowing how to use it.

in your free ebooks, on your classified ad site, etc.

7. Switch your marketing plan when your market
dies for your product. Be flexible and redesign your

web site links, free useful software, etc.

9. Build your opt-in e-mail list using an FFA (free
-for-all links page). People can submit links to your
links page and you can send them a thanks e-mail.

10. Reward your customers for giving you product
feedback. It could be discounted products, useful
software, information products, etc.

The first option is the preferred option of all Internet marketers. Writing articles. While it sound s hard to do it’s not. You can write articles by the dozen a day if you have the time.

Write articles to post around the web in article directories. Include a link to your website in the author’s resource box. You must submit articles to the articles directories at least every week. Make sure the articles you submit are yours. Don’t submit articles you purchase from PLR sites or free memberships. Most of the time these articles have been published by someone else. Write a press release and submit to the PR Web dot com. Press releases are one of the most cost-effective ways to get promotion for your online business. Many entrepreneurs ignore this type of promotion because they don’t know how to write a press release. It’s important to promote your online business with press releases because of the media all over the Internet. Your press release should sound like news, not an ad.

Set up a Blog. Blogs are quickly becoming one of the most popular and easiest ways for anyone to publish content to the web. and invite everyone in your network to subscribe: family, friends, clients, associates, coworkers . Submit your blog to popular blog directories. There are literally hundreds of blog directories. The best thing about blogs is that they are indexed by Google faster than regular websites. You can also post on others peoples blogs and leave comments that will contain your website link. People will read your comments and click on the link.

You can post to forums. You can use forums that you regularly comment within, even if they have nothing to do with your website content. Provide good answers to solve the common problems that people are asking. Only provide solutions on subjects that you have knowledge. The easiest way you can use an online forum to promote your website link, is by simply adding a link to promote your website in your forum “signature”. Many forums allow each member to create a signature that is added to the bottom of each of their posts.

Advertise in classifieds such as Graig List and in groups such as Google, Yahoo and MSM. Register in communities sites such as Squidoo, Diggs, My Space, Free IQ and others. All are free.

Give away a freebie (ebook, report, e-course) to keep people coming back to your site. Add an RSS feed to your blog. Submit your site to any related niche directories on the net. Participate in a banner or link exchange program.

You can Upload video’s related to your site on YouTube or other video site and add your link in the description. There is software that will allow you to brand your affiliate videos.

You don’t have to use anyone’s service. And for heaven’s sake, don’t pay someone to do this for you! Everything mentioned in this article can be accomplish in a couple of hours every day.

While article submission isn’t anything shockingly new to the world of SEO, many people STILL don’t do it… and for good reason. It takes so incredibly long to do manually.

I’ll admit, I had tried article submission at one point, but after I finally found a few article dircetories to submit my articles to, and then after manually copying and pasting my information into the required textboxes on each submission site, I quickly realized that my time could be better spent doing something else.

Then I came across a free program created by Brad Callen and Bryxen Software, Inc. that allows you to automatically submit your articles to hundreds of article directories with a few mouse clicks. Then, you can move to the next directory, go through the list, and by the time you’re finished you’ll have roughly 700 one way links pointing to your website.

I can’t think of an easier way to get links. Of course, if you’re going to get links this quickly, it’s important to submit different variations of your articles, to make things look more natural to the search engines.

Review of Michael Rasmussen’s “Email Promos Exposed” Video Series: How to Write Killer Email Promos That Get Results!

Have you ever been faced with the task of having to write an email promotion to your list, and then realized that you didn’t know what to say or how to say it?

I also liked how Michael divided the videos up by section, and then again by sub-section. For example, one video is all about the subject line, and then there are different parts of that video that each cover a certain area of crafting a killer subject line.

This video served as an introduction to the whole course. You get to see a picture of Michael in his every day life, and he establishes his credibility right up front by talking about some of his massive successes online. He even provides proof of credibility by displaying two checks in the amount of $50,000 and $25,000 which prove that, when it comes to the subject of making money with email promos, he knows his stuff.

This is a good lesson for anyone to get. Whenever you’re teaching people how to do something, it’s good to establish your credibility up front, so that there’s no doubt about whether or not you’re qualified to talk about the subject. Most product
developers either skip or minimize this step.

VIDEO 2 – BEFORE YOU WRITE THE PROMO

This video talks about some things that no other marketer has bothered to mention. You’ll learn things like:

* How to keep your emails laser-focused

This was a fantastic video, and did a good job of kicking things off.

I was surprised to find that I was making some of the mistakes that Michael mentioned in this video, but now I know better.

This is where a lot of people slack off when writing their emails. Michael talks about how important it is to create an opening that is conversational, and then reveals techniques and examples on how to do that.

He also reveals:

* How to get people to keep reading your email once they’ve opened it.

* How to make your opening interesting.

* Mistakes to avoid when creating your first few paragraphs.

VIDEO 5 – THE BODY COPY

This is one of the “meatiest” portions of the course, because it reveals techniques that are not widely discussed on the forums, blogs, and in most eBooks. He talks about the importance of keeping your body copy tight and relevant, and
then reveals how you can do that. You’ll also learn:

* How to write powerful bullets that make people curious and want to find out more.

* Simple formatting tricks for making your body copy easy to read.

* The secret of “bucket brigade copy” and how to use it in your email promos to force people to keep reading.

VIDEO 6 – THE CALL TO ACTION

This is where a lot of people wimp out in their email promos. They start out strong, but when it comes time to ask the reader to click the link and take action, they don’t know what to say. Michael talks about some of his favorite techniques for making that happen, and also reveals:

VIDEO 8 – COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE

I loved this video, because it showed me some mistakes that I was making that I wasn’t even aware of. Unless you’re a seasoned pro, you’re probably guilty of some of the things that Michael talks about in this video as well, and that’s why it’s so valuable. I’ve shaved years off my learning curve, because now I can avoid some of the costly mistakes that I was bound to make in the learning process.

VIDEO 9 – HOW TO CREATE FOLLOW-UP EMAIL PROMOTIONS

This video alone is going to make me a lot of money. Why? Because I used to only send out one email promo for each affiliate promotion I was doing. Michael showed me in this video how important it is to send a follow-up promotion,
and he showed me exactly how to do it. He covered things like:

* The psychology of follow-up email promo’s.

* The 2 main types of follow-up promos that make the most money.

* How to overcome readers’ objections in your follow up emails.

* The 2 most common mistakes people make when writing follow-ups and how to avoid them.

VIDEO 10 – HOW TO WRITE BACK END EMAIL PROMOTIONS

Every marketing guru out there says that the REAL money is on the back end. I’d have to agree with them, but the problem is… most people have no idea how to set up a back end system that makes money. This video will teach you how to set up an automated back end that’s loaded with killer promos that make you lots of cash on autopilot.

He reveals things like:

* The big difference between regular and back end email promos.

* How to prepare a back end promotion sequence.

* Common mistakes people make when creating back end email promos.

VIDEO 11 – CREATING AFFILIATE EMAIL PROMOTIONS

This could be the most important video of the entire package for a lot of people, because most people email their list to promote other people’s products as an affiliate. Let’s face it, if you only have 3 products, can you really afford to only email your list 3 times a year? They’ll get bored hearing about the same old products over and over again. This video sheds some light on how to create killer affiliate promos. Michael reveals things like:

* The two main types of affiliate promos.

* What makes affiliate promos different than regular promos (and why ignoring this huge secret could cost you big money).

* Michael’s favorite tactics for creating affiliate promos that no one else is doing.

* 3 different ways to add scarcity to your affiliate promos (this is the most important section of the video, so make sure you watch it over and over again).

As you can see, Email Promos Exposed really packs a lot of punch! Most of the courses out there offer only watered down, weak content. Not this one! These videos are going on my “A-list” for a long time.

Most webmasters know that Adsense generates a sizeable source of additional advertising income. That is why most of them use it to go after high paying keywords. They have with them the lists that tells what the keywords are and have already used various methods of identifying them. And yet, after putting up these supposed-to-be high paying keywords into their pages, the money they expected to come rolling in is not really coming in.

What is it that they are doing wrong?

Having the pages is with the proper keywords is one thing. But driving visitors to those pages is another matter and often the factor that is lacking. The thing is, to get visitors to your high paying keyword pages, you need to optimize your site navigation.

Stop for a moment and think about how visitors are using your website. After a visitor has landed on a certain page, they have the tendency to click on another page that sounds interesting. They get there because of the other links that appears on a page that they initially landed on. This is site navigation. It is all about enabling visitors to move about your site. And one way of maximizing your Adsense earnings.

A typical website have menu links on each page. The wording on these links is what grabs a visitor’s attention and gets them to click on one of the links that will take them to another page of that website. Links that have “free’ or “download” are oftentimes good attention-grabbers.

This navigation logic can also be applied to driving traffic to your high paying pages. There are some websites that are getting a lot of traffic from search engines, but have low earnings. The trick is to try and use come cleverly labeled links to get the visitors off that pages and navigate them to the higher earning ones. This is one great way of turning real cheap clicks to real dollars.

Before you begin testing if this same style will work for you and you website, you need to have two things. Something to track and compare and some high earning pages you want to funnel your site traffic to. An option is to select a few of your frequently visited pages. Now, the next thing to do is think of ways to get visitors viewing a particular page to try and click on the link that will take them to your high earning pages. Come up with a catchy description for that link. Come up with a catchy and unique description for the link. Think of something that people do not get to see everyday. That will trigger their curiosity enough to try and see what that was all about.

You can also use graphics to grab your readers’ attention. There is no limitation to what you can do to make your link noticeable. If you are after the success of your site, you will do everything it takes just to achieve that goal. Just be creative. As far as many Adsense advertisers are concerned, there are no written and unwritten laws to follow regarding what they write. Just as long as you do not overstep the guidelines of the search engines, then go for it.

Also remember that it is all about location, location and location. Once the perfect attention grabbing description has been achieved, you have to identify the perfect spot on your page to position that descriptive link to your high paying page.

There is nothing wrong with visiting other websites to see how they are going about maximizing their site navigation. “Hot pages” or “Most read” lists are very common and overly used already. Get to know the ones that many websites are using and do not try to imitate them.

Another way of doing it is to try and use different texts on different pages. That way you will see the ones that work and what does not. Try to mix things around also. Put links on top and sometimes on the bottom too. This is how you go about testing which ones get more clicks and which ones are being ignored.

Let the testing begin. Testing and tracking until you find the site navigation style that works best for you site.
